Although the site has yet to be created, I’m very excited to announce I’ll be hosting an online videoblog show featuring in-depth interviews with other independent artists as well as podcasts with industry professionals who can provide advice to assist musicians on their trek . Over the past week, the site went from being called IndieOpenMic to IndieRemedy: the cure for the common musician. Derek Sivers, creator of CDBaby (sivers.org) hated that, so a little angel brought me the name “muzindo”. Then, a friend thought I said “muzendo?” over the phone. So, “-endo” also meaning “-ing” in Spanish stuck. My fingers are still black from applying marker on them this past Sunday whilst making the perfect fingerprint for which to scan. I did the logo on Photoshop CS4 (see below). If you like it and need help with a logo, branding, or even a commercial jingle, please feel free to ask me. Also, I was let go from my job at Mercedes-Benz of South Atlanta this past Friday so working for you might be a good way to make money to launch muzendo.com. Please let me know via the CONTACT tab.
P.S. I miss all my peeps at MB; that means you, Hodo.
